A raunchy comedy led entirely by females that doesn't shy away from getting gross or uncomfortable. And the best part, the entire movie doesn't revolve around a man or trying to get a man. It's about women and problems they deal with. Kristen Wiig of SNL fame leads the cast and wrote the screenplay. She's joined by Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, and Melissa McCarthy. Directed by Paul Feig. It broke box office records and created a new movie genre, but DOES IT HOLD UP?

GRAVITY

October 3, 2013, Alfonso Cuaron brings a masterfully epic story the capacity of human beings to  survive against all odds. Astronaut Ryan, played by Sandra Bullock must do just that as her mission in space goes sideways very quickly and her only partner, Kowalski, played by George Clooney, can no longer help. She finds herself stranded alone in the place that no one can hear you scream. Will she make it back to Earth? Will she give up? But more importantly, Does it Hold Up?

October 20th, 2006. Christopher Nolan bring us The Prestige. A movie full of magic, and wonder. Heartache and pain. Obsession and truth. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale head up an all-star cast that includes Rebecca Hall, Scarlett Johansson, and Michael Caine.
Two magicians battle for years to see who has the best trick until it all goes too far and costs both of them everything they have. Riding high after 2005's Batman Begins, Nolan makes us question everything we see. But the only question we are interested in here is, Does it Hold Up?

SHREK

May 18th 2001, Dreamworks releases one of their biggest movies ever, Shrek. Mike Myers plays the fearsome ogre who wants to be alone. Eddie Murphy lights up the screen as the voice of Donkey. And Cameron Diaz holds her own as Fiona. A fairytale to end all fairytales... or at least rip them all off.
An Oscar winner. A top grosser. And a movie that saved an entire company. Shrek is a beloved classic, but when's the last time you watched it? Is it still as good as you remember? Does it hold up?

Directed by David Fincher, written by Aaron Sorkin, and starring Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg (we talk conspiracy about their last names), Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin, and Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker.
First thing we ponder is how the hell this got made into a movie!!! Then we talk so much more so come listen now to have the burning question answered...HOW THE HELL DID THIS GET MADE, but actually, we just wanna know, Does it Hold Up?

INDEPENDENCE DAY

July 2nd 1996, Will Smith, Jeff GoldBlum, and Bill Pullman lead the US and the world into a battle for freedom. They will not go quietly into the night. They will take down these aliens and the whole world will say in one voice, this is our Independence Day.
Director Roland Emmerich gives us what many consider one of the best alien movies of all with an all-star cast, crazy visuals, and a 2.5 hour runtime. This is a staple in some US households to watch every July 4th, but does it hold up?

INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE

May 24th 1989, Harrison Ford takes on the role of Indiana Jones for what everyone though would be the last time. Spielberg was back in the director's chair for the third installment in this adventure series. Sean Connery is new to the cast as Jones' father. We follow Indy as he goes after the Holy Grail. A lot of the movie feels very similar to Raiders of the Lost Ark, but is miles ahead of Temple of Doom. Some consider this movie their favorite Indiana Jones adventure while others think it's the same thing we have already seen. But what we wanna know is, does it hold up?

STAR WARS EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE

May 25, 1977 introduced the world to George Lucas's Star Wars; one of the highest grossing and most profitable franchises in the history of film. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Darth Vader become household names for generations to come. The story of a young farm boy finding out he is the key to a battle against the4 dark side, but IN SPACE. The movie doesn't do anything that hasn't been done before, but it caught fire that couldn't be put out. Years later and Star Wars is still one of the biggest properties in the world, but does it hold up?

He meets Eve, played by Alicia Silverstone and the two have an awkward romance. The movie also stars Oscar winners Sissy Spacek and Christopher Walken as Adam's parents. This isn't a movie that many people think of, but maybe it's better than you remember.
